Encrypted transmission
All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption.
This Privacy Policy applies to the official MINISO mobile applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store (package com.minisoiraq.app), operated by MINISO (“we”, “our”, “us”) and available at minisoapp.com. This page is the privacy policy URL submitted with those store listings. By using our App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Information We Collect
We collect information needed to run the MINISO shopping experience:
Account information
When you register, we collect your full name, phone number, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash) to create and manage your account.
Profile & address data
Addresses you save in your address book, including address name, type (house, apartment, office), street address, geographic coordinates, floor, and optional notes.
Order & transaction data
Details of orders you place, including items, totals, delivery address, notes, and order status history.
Location data
With your permission, we collect GPS coordinates to set delivery locations and show relevant availability. You can disable location access in your device settings at any time.
Device & technical data
Device type, operating system version, app version, FCM push token, and anonymised usage data to improve performance and deliver notifications.

How We Use Your Information
- Account management — create, verify, and manage your MINISO account, including phone OTP verification.
- Order processing — fulfil your orders, calculate fees, and deliver to your address.
- Personalisation — show relevant products and availability based on your location.
- Push notifications — send order updates, promotions you opt into, and important service messages.
- Customer support — respond to enquiries and resolve issues.
- App improvement — analyse usage, fix bugs, and develop new features.
- Legal compliance — meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in these limited cases:

Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data:
Hashed passwords
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text.
Access controls
Access to user data is limited to authorised personnel only.
Regular backups
Data is backed up regularly to reduce loss from system failures.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We will notify you promptly if a data breach affects your personal information.

Data Retention
We retain personal data while your account is active, or as needed to provide services:
- Account data is kept until you request account deletion.
- Order history is retained for at least 2 years for legal and dispute-resolution purposes.
- Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
To delete your account and associated data, go to Account → Danger Zone → Delete Account in the app.

Your Rights & Choices
Access
View your account information anytime in the Account section of the app.
Correction
Update your name, phone number, and profile from Account → Update Account.
Deletion
Delete your account and personal data from Account → Danger Zone → Delete Account.
Notification preferences
Manage store and promotional notifications in the app or your device settings.

Location Data
MINISO may request location access to:
- Show availability relevant to your area.
- Help set your delivery address on the map.
- Calculate accurate delivery distances and fees.
Location is requested only for location-dependent features. You can deny or revoke permission in device settings — the app still works, but you may need to enter your address manually.
We do not track your location in the background while the app is closed.

Push Notifications
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send notifications, which may include:
- Order status updates.
- Promotions and offers you opt into.
- Important service or account messages.
You can manage preferences in your device notification settings or in the app.

Children’s Privacy
MINISO is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you via push notification or an in-app message. The latest policy is always at https://minisoapp.com/privacy-policy/ (also linked from the App Store and Google Play listings) and in the app under Account → Information. Continued use of MINISO after updates means you accept the revised policy.
